Paper finishing options include dry-mounting onto acid-free foamcore, which permanently adheres the photo paper onto a rigid, acid-free surface. Acid-free dry mounted prints are suitable for the preservation of posters, signs, artwork or digital images.
Lightweight yet sturdy enough to resist denting, acid-free foamcore helps to preserve the image via an acid-free surface and neutral pH levels. It is clay coated with an extra smooth, moisture resistant surface and bright white on both sides to enhance the colors of the printed image. The image is printed directly onto the foamcore, making it an economical option for business signage or other short-term uses where a rigid structure is required, such as graduation signs.
