About the Eddie Aikau Foundation
The Eddie Aikau Foundation is a charitable (501c3) organization founded by the Aikau Family to share Eddie Aikau's life story, his contributions and his accomplishments. The Foundation pays tribute to Edward Ryon Makuahanai Aikau, in honor of his love for his family and others, his courage and compassion in saving lives, his dedication to the Hawaiian people and its culture, and in remembrance of him as a true symbol of the Aloha Spirit. About the Artist
Artist Eddy Y is a self-taught commercial/fine artist, designer and entrepreneur who has dedicated over 40 years to the creation of art. Eddy Y has done countless design collaborations with various organizations, including Reyn Spooner, Merrie Monarch Festival and the PGA Tour, to name a few. Currently, he is concentrating on paintings and using the knowledge accumulated over the years to share nostalgic surf culture with today's generation. view less
